Some say Lady Gwynevere was the most beautiful mistake that King Arthur ever made.

The Lady herself, however, wishes to tell all who’d said that to kindly leap off the highest cliff they can find at ample speed if they hope that she might miss tossing daggers through their lying tongues on the way down.

Lady Gwynevere was no adulteress, nor priestess, nor a helpless damsel in distress like all the rest who wished to wed kings. Lady Gwyn had many names, and one of them was Elynya in the land of endless storm clouds and summits where she’d been raised.

Her troubles began when once upon a time, this magic-chasing girl stood in front of an unruly boy who happened to be a king, whom she happened to kiss — entirely by accident — and then asked him what kind of daft prick he was to go sneaking around the forest and shoving himself into love stories where he never belonged.

That’s when suddenly everything she never wanted to happen decided to happen…all at once.

The accident-prone 17-year-old Gwyn wants nothing more than to be a completely free pirate queen so that no one would ever tell her to shut up again. First, she needs to prove her family wasn’t plotting to kill King Arthur in a battle of wits, magic, and tests of love that will reveal who she truly is.
